animal adventures: kids caring for critters 2010

Is your child an animal lover?  Would your son or daughter enjoy a week-long adventure with DPVHS learning all about animal care, playing games, and having fun?

Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society is once again offering our Animal Adventures: Kids Caring for Critters.  This exciting program is a wonderful opportunity for your child to learn about caring for family pets, dog bite prevention, animal behavior and communication, animal abuse, conservation, environmental preservation, and "Animal Adventures" field trips in the Pioneer Valley .

Children taking part in this program will also have the opportunity to spend time at DPVHS Adoption & Education Center in Springfield where they will engage in Adoption Center projects and spend time with friendly animals. 

Crafts, such as dog and cat toys, placemats, picture frames, habitats, treats and more will be created, as well as cooperative activities and games!

When:
July 5th-9th for ages 9-12 yrs, 9a.m-3p.m.
July 12th-16th for ages 6-8 yrs., 9a.m.-3p.m.

Where:
Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society Adoption and Education Center in Springfield, MA and
"Animal Adventures" Field Trips in the Pioneer Valley

Fee:
$285, with a deposit of $100 due by June 4th, 2010
*Payment must be received in full prior to the start of program
**Please make checks payable to DPVHS
***Space is limited. Applications are accepted on a first-come first-serve basis depending on receipt of application and deposit.
