dakin Humane awards 2011

On November 4th, Dakin honored four extraordinary animal advocates and one superstar animal at our 1st Annual Dakin Humane Awards Celebration.  A wonderful time was had by all who attended the event at Wyckoff Country Club, and the party lasted well into the late night hours with dancing to the music of the Floyd Patterson Band!

We'd like to extend our deepest appreciation to our sponsors, our Master of Ceremonies, WAMC–Northeast Public Radio’s Pioneer Valley News Bureau Chief, Paul Tuthill and host, WWLP–22News meteorologist Brian Lapis, and everyone else that made this night a memorable one.
