services and fees

Healthy dogs over the age of 8 weeks and weighing at least 2 pounds are eligible for surgery.  Vaccinations and other services are offered at the time of surgery only.  Please contact your veterinarian for ongoing wellness services.

We are unable to provide surgery for dogs who are cryptorchid (have a retained testicle) or brachycephalic (smooshed in face) dogs, such as English Bulldogs, Pugs, etc.  These dogs' special needs are best served by full service veterinary hospitals.

*The Community Spay/Neuter Clinic offers $50 spay/neuter surgeries for pit bulls and pit bull mixes.  The program was developed in response to the high number of pit bulls entering local shelters.  To receive a $50 spay/neuter surgery, the dog must be your personal family pet, and visually look like a pit bull or pit bull mix.

**Massachusetts law requires that all pets be vaccinated for rabies.  Please bring a current certificate of vaccination (a tag is not proof) with you the day of surgery.  If you do not have proof, your pet will be vaccinated for an additional charge of $10.
