national train your dog month
January is National Train Your Dog month. Start off on the right paw by enrolling your dog in one of the many dog training classes offered at the Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society. A trained dog is less likely to bite, be destructive, or run away. Trained dogs stay in their homes instead of ending up at animal adoption centers, shelters, and rescues.
Whether you need to start with basic pet dog manners in our Levels Training Classes or would like to try out one of our specialized classes such as Scent Work for Dogs or Canine Good Citizen, we have a class for everyone’s level and need. All our classes are taught by certified trainers using only positive reinforcement reward based methods and are offered in both Springfield and Hadley, MA.
